The Philippines snagged a total of 19 gold medals in the 2023 Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships held in New Delhi, India.

Weightlifters Vanessa Sarno, Jhodie Peralta, Angeline Colonia, and Rosegie Ramos each won three gold medals for the Philippines in their respective categories.

Albert Ian Delos Santos, and Prince Keil Delos Santos, meanwhile, both won a pair of gold medals.

Rose Jean Ramos, Alexsandra Ann Diaz, and Eron Borres also contributed to the gold-medal haul of the country in the recent edition of the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships.
