The Philippine national modern pentathlon team bagged seven gold medals in the recent 2023 Southeast Asia Championships in Pattaya, Thailand.
Samuel German, Juliana Shane Sevilla, and Joseph Godbout each bagged two individual gold medals in the tournament held from May 19 to May 21.
German clocked in 12 minutes and 22.40 seconds to top the Southeast Asian Nations category and Asian category of the Men's Laser Run event.
Sevilla, meanwhile, took home the crown in the Asian and SEA Nations categories of Women's Laser-Run with a time of 15 minutes of 36.91 seconds.
Godbout registered a time of 16 minutes and 13.11 seconds to rule the Asian and SEA categories of the Triathle event.
