Philippines bet Pauline Amelinckx was hailed as the first runner-up in the highly anticipated Miss Supranational 2023 coronation event held in Poland on Saturday.
Ecuador's Andrea Victoria Aguilera Paredes was crowned the pageant's title, surpassing contestants from 64 nations, and was gracefully crowned by the outgoing Miss Supranational, Lalela Mswane.
Claiming the esteemed position of second runner-up was Sancler Frantz Konzen from Brazil, closely followed by Emma Rose Collingridge from the United Kingdom and Dang Thanh Ngan from Vietnam.
Recognizing outstanding delegates from various regions who did not advance to the final top five, the Miss Supranational pageant also acknowledged continental ambassadors:
- Sakhile Dube from Zimbabwe represented Africa
- Pragnya Ayyagari from India represented Asia
- Valeria Florez from Peru represented the Americas
- Andreina Pereira from Curacao represented the Caribbean
- Michelle Lopez Desoisa from Gibraltar represented Europe
Furthermore, the 27-year-old Amelinckx excelled in the "Suprachat" challenge and was among the first candidates to enter the Top 24. She also made it to the Top 7 of the "Supra Influencer" challenge.
The only Filipino woman to have ever been crowned Miss Supranational remains Binibining Pilipinas Mutya Johanna Datul. Her historic victory occurred a decade ago during the pageant's fifth edition in 2013.
