The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has opened the auditions for its upcoming production, "One More Chance The Musical" featuring the music of nine-pice folk pop band Ben&amp;Ben.
In a Facebook post, PETA said applicants should submit 16 bars&ndash;consisting of one stanza and one chorus&ndash;of the best part of any Ben&amp;Ben or original Filipino music together with 4 bars of choreography to any contemporary modern music.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Interested applicants who want to audition will have the chance of a lifetime to portray the roles of Popoy, Basha, the Thursday Barkada, and other ensemble characters from the cult-classic movie,&rdquo; PETA&rsquo;s caption read.&nbsp;

According to the theater association, the deadline for casting submissions is on November 26. The live auditions will be held at the PETA Theater Center from December 4 to 5.&nbsp;
The &ldquo;One More Chance&rdquo; The Musical is set to <a href="https://dzrh.com.ph/post/peta-to-stage-'one-more-chance'-musical-ft.-benandben">premiere in 2024</a>.&nbsp;
The film follows characters Popoy as portrayed by John Lloyd Cruz and Basha as played by Bea Alonzo. The couple broke up but eventually mend their relationship after much realization.&nbsp;
