The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) has opened the auditions for its upcoming production, "One More Chance The Musical" featuring the music of nine-pice folk pop band Ben&Ben.

In a Facebook post, PETA said applicants should submit 16 bars–consisting of one stanza and one chorus–of the best part of any Ben&Ben or original Filipino music together with 4 bars of choreography to any contemporary modern music.

“Interested applicants who want to audition will have the chance of a lifetime to portray the roles of Popoy, Basha, the Thursday Barkada, and other ensemble characters from the cult-classic movie,” PETA’s caption read.

According to the theater association, the deadline for casting submissions is on November 26. The live auditions will be held at the PETA Theater Center from December 4 to 5.

The “One More Chance” The Musical is set to premiere in 2024.

The film follows characters Popoy as portrayed by John Lloyd Cruz and Basha as played by Bea Alonzo. The couple broke up but eventually mend their relationship after much realization.
