The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has distributed various medical devices to senior citizens and persons with disabilities in the second district of Batangas.
On January 25, 2024, a simple ceremony took place at the Office of the General Manager for the turnover of medical equipment led by Ms. Marjorie Gregoria C. Gaddi as the representative of PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles.
During the event, representatives from Congresswoman Luistro's office, Albert Mendoza, and Lorenz James C. Luistro joyfully received medical devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, BP apparatus, thermal scanners, and nebulizers.
Albert Mendoza expressed gratitude, saying, “Sa ngalan ni Congresswoman Luistro, kami po ay buong pusong nagpapasalamat sa PCSO, sa mga medical devices at mobility aids para sa mga senior citizens at persons with disability mula sa 2nd district ng Batangas. Umasa po kayo na ito po ay mapapakinabangan at magbibigay ng positibong epekto sa kanilang buha.”
This activity is part of the agency's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, aligning with the directive of President "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to assist our fellow citizens in need.
