Supporting the modern initiatives of the Marcos administration, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) actively participated in the momentous gathering of 'Bagong Pilipinas Kick-off Rally' launched at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila, aiming to provide broader services and instill hope among Filipinos on the path to a modernized country.
General Manager Melquiades A. Robles and all members of the PCSO Board of Directors, alongside some agency employees, were present at the event.
The successful kick-off rally for the Bagong Pilipinas was spearheaded by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., joined by First Lady Marie Louise "Liza" Araneta Marcos, Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte-Carpio, lawmakers, leaders from various government departments, and their respective staff.
Functioning as a charitable arm of the government with a mission to assist the less fortunate, PCSO is committed to paving the way for a new era of hope. This commitment is manifested through continuous provision of medical services and the donation of Patient Transport Vehicles (PTV) to local government units (LGUs) nationwide.
The kick-off rally also showcased the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, where various government agencies participated in providing complimentary services.
