The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) extended four key programs and services to the residents of San Antonio, Quezon.
Led by General Manager Melquiades A. Robles, alongside Board of Directors Jennifer Liongson-Guevara, Janet De Leon-Mercado, and Judge Felix P. Reyes (Ret.), the agency delivered one Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) and 300 Hygiene Kits to the town of San Antonio on February 16, 2024.
The donation was formally received by Mayor Aniano Ariel Waga Jr. in a simple ceremonial turnover.
A successful Medical & Dental mission was also conducted at the Municipal Gymnasium of San Antonio, spearheaded by Medical Services Department (MSD) Medical Officer V Dr. Juliet Diaz.
In total, 310 patients, including pregnant women, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWD), received free services such as medical consultation, dental check-up, tooth extraction, and electrocardiogram (ECG).
Additionally, 500 senior citizens expressed joy and gratitude for the food packs and free lotto tickets worth a total of P10,000.00.
It is undeniable that for nearly nine decades, the agency has remained dedicated to continuing its outreach efforts across various provinces to provide assistance and instill hope among our fellow citizens.
