At the start of 2024, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) provided a Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) to the town of Real, Quezon.
A turnover ceremony was held led by PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles and Chief of Staff (COS) Atty. Lyssa Grace S. Pagano for Real, Quezon, under the leadership of Mayor Diana Abigail Diestro - Aquino on January 8, 2024, at the Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.
Mayor Aquino gratefully accepted the PCSO's gift of the PTV, saying, "Nagpapasalamat po ako sa mahal nating Pangulong BBM ganundin kina GM Robles at COS Pagano para sa handog nyong PTV sa aming bayan ng Real. Napakalaking tulong po nito sa amin ganun din sa aming mga karatig bayan.
Meanwhile, GM Robles once again appealed to the public to support PCSO's games. "Suportahan po natin ang Lotto at STL games dahil sa bawat taya po ninyo ay may kawanggawa. Sa mga Charity Programs po ng PCSO gaya ng PTV Donation Program napupunta po ang ibang porsiyento ng inyong itinataya sa aming mga palaro."
The PTV Donation Program is one of PCSO's initiatives aimed at transporting sick or injured individuals from remote areas to the nearest hospital or medical facility.
