The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) carried out the distribution of Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) to 114 Local Government Units (LGUs) and public hospitals across the country.
This initiative falls under PCSO's Medical Transport Vehicle (MTV) Donation Program and was spearheaded by PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles along with several PCSO officials.
GM Robles shared in his message that one of the President's goals is to provide every citizen with the government's public services. Through PCSO's PTVs, the need for medical transportation for the sick fellow citizens who need immediate hospital care can be addressed.
He added, “Ang panata po ng PCSO ay mabigyan ang bawat isa, bawat munisipyo sa buong Pilipinas ng PTV.”
GM Robles also encouraged LGU leaders and institutions to utilize other services provided by PCSO, such as the medicine donation program, to reach out to those in need.
Meanwhile, recipients of PTVs from PCSO expressed deep gratitude to GM Robles, recognizing the significant assistance the PTVs bring to their towns, especially in areas where hospitals are far away.
