The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), led by General Manager Melquiades Robles, made a significant contribution to various municipalities in Quezon.
On January 9, 2024, at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City, PCSO distributed a total of P3,202,149.54 in lotto shares.
The event was attended by Branch Manager Leticia Renomeron and staff from the Quezon Branch.
Alongside the lotto shares, PCSO also handed out 3000 lotto tickets to locals, offering them a chance to win the P500M jackpot prize.
Moreover, as part of the nationwide LAB FOR ALL initiative spearheaded by First Lady Marie Louise "Liza" Araneta Marcos, PCSO provided P200,000.00 worth of medicines.
LAB FOR ALL aims to offer free medical consultation, laboratory tests, and healthcare check-ups.
Quezon Provincial Governor Angelina "Helen" Tan, along with Municipal Mayors, expressed their gratitude to GM Robles for the continuous support in delivering various charitable programs. They particularly appreciated the gesture of providing free lottery tickets, which offers hope and a chance for families to become future millionaires.
The local government units (LGUs) also acknowledged GM Robles for personally delivering their lotto checks. These funds will be utilized for welfare and community programs in their respective towns.
