The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said it welcomed the arrival of the Indonesia Coast Guard vesel in Panacan Wharf, Davao City on Monday, Nov. 20.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, PCG said it welcomed Indonesia's BAKAMLA vessel, KN Gajah Laut 404, headed by its commanding officer, Commander Agus Tri Haryanto for their five-day port visit at Panacan Wharf, Davao City.

“To our esteemed guests from the Indonesian Coast Guard, may your stay in Davao City be filled with warmth, camaraderie and productive discussions,” Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao (CGDSEM) Commander, CG Commodore Rejard Marfe said.

“May this partnership lead to a future where the seas we guard become the pathways of prosperity and understanding for generations to come,” he added.

Among the officials present at the welcoming were the Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for International Affairs, CG Commodore Algier Ricafrente; the Indonesian Consulate for Police Affairs, Police Superintendent Alex William; and other PCG officers.
