The BRP Boracay was able to rescue MV Castphill XV’s captain and six other crew members at approximately 4:27 AM, the PCG said in a statement.

The Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Maragondon, Cavite also brought five more crew members to safety at around 7:35 AM. The crew members were subsequently taken to a Coast Guard facility for medical attention.
