The BRP Sindangan (MRRV-4407) used its water cannon to agitate the oil sheen, while Coast Guard divers conducted an underwater inspection at the site.
Before it sank in the waters of Limay in Bataan, the MTKR Terranova was carrying 1.4 million liters of Intermediate Fuel Oil (IFO).
Meanwhile, the FES Challenger, the contracted salvor for MTKR Jason Bradley, deployed its pumps and siphoning pipes to commence seawater removal from the sunken vessel.
MTKR Jason Bradley is scheduled to be refloated on Saturday and then transported to the Diving Industry Shipyard in Barangay Alas-asin, Mariveles, for further operations.
The Oil Spill Response Team (OSRT) patrolled the waters around the sunken vessel, and no oil sheen was observed during the survey.
