

The majority of Filipinos trust and approve President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte, according to the latest poll by OCTA Research released Wednesday.
Based on the results of OCTA’s Tugon ng Bayan survey conducted from Oct. 23 to 27, Marcos registered 86 percent of trust ratings and 78 percent of performance ratings.
The poll also showed that only 4 percent of Filipinos declared distrust in the President while 5 percent answered they are dissatisfied with his performance.
Meanwhile, Duterte also acquired an 86 percent trust rating and an 80 percent performance rating.
Only 4 percent expressed distrust in the Vice President and 4 percent were disatisfied with her performance.
Both Marcos and Duterte received the highest rating in Mindanao with 92 percent and 98 percent, respectively.
The President and the Vice President registered 82 percent and 83 percent, respectively, in the National Capital Region.
A total of 1,200 adults across the country participated in the October poll.
OCTA earlier reported that 85 percent of Filipinos believe that the country is headed in the right direction based on programs and policies implemented under the Marcos Administration.
