President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has directed his Cabinet members, military, and uniformed personnel to strengthen their efforts in delivering aid to communities severely impacted by Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Kristine.

During a briefing on Friday, the President highlighted the urgent need for a swift response, as numerous residents remain stranded in floodwaters with limited access to basic necessities.

"There are people still in water right now; they are still flooded," President Marcos emphasized. "They are walking around in water up to their waist; they have no water supply, no food, no place to stay. If you think you're tired, think about what their condition is."

As part of the government’s response, Marcos pledged that relief efforts would arrive "by land, air, and sea" to affected areas, ensuring timely assistance for all those in need.

The Executive Chief has designated Cabinet Secretaries to oversee relief and recovery operations in specific regions to streamline response efforts.

According to PAGASA, STS Kristine is forecasted to move westward and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Friday afternoon.

Marcos assured the public that comprehensive relief and rehabilitation efforts are underway.

"Help is on the way, and we will not stop until every affected area receives the aid they need," he remarked.
