Marcos and the First Lady were among the guests invited to King Charles' coronation in May 2023.
The two had the chance to personally talk with the 73-years-old monarch at Buckingham Palace reception before the latter was crowned formally.
The King's cancer was announced by Buckingham Palace in an official statement published on February 5.
Doctors reportedly found the cancer during the Majesty's hospital procedure for his benign prostate enlargement. The exact type of cancer and the stage were not disclosed.
Two days after his cancer diagnosis, King Charles made his first public appearance with Queen Camilla.
