

A day of pride and celebration awaits as Filipino gymnasts who represented the Philippines at the recent Paris 2024 Olympics are set to be honored by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at Malacañang Palace on Tuesday.
According to the Presidential Communications Office, Carlos Yulo, along with other outstanding Filipino Olympians, will arrive at Villamor Airbase and be greeted by their families.
The athletes will then proceed to the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), where they will be welcomed by government officials before a parade through key areas of Manila, starting from Malacañang Palace.
"Upon their arrival at the Palace, the Olympians will be received by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, and the First Family," the PCO said.
"A special program will follow, during which the President will personally honor the athletes and present them with well-deserved incentives, acknowledging their exceptional contributions to Philippine sports and their stellar performances at the 2024 Paris Olympics."
