President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. will be attending the coronation of King Charles III next month, according to Philippine Ambassador to the United Kingdom Tedoro Locsin Jr.
His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort Camilla will be crowned on May 6 at London's Westminster Abbey.
According to Locsin, the King, and the President know each other because they used to play polo together.
Only President Marcos and his wife, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos are invited to the event.
In an earlier announcement from Buckingham Palace, the crowning of Britain's King Charles III this May will be celebrated with traditional processions, a concert at Windsor Castle, street parties, light shows, and community volunteering.
The historic event is expected to gather world leaders, diplomats, politicians, and royals from all over the world.
Charles, 74, automatically became king on the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth last September.
