Former Pandan, Antique Mayor Jonathan Tan has been tapped as the new chairperson and administrator of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), as announced by the Presidential Communications Office on Wednesday.

Tan together with Margarita Gutierrez as undersecretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government and Amable Aguiluz V as the Philippines’ Special Envoy for Trade and Investments in Japan, was sworn before President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. during a ceremony in Malacañang.
