President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. is still not healthy to attend public activities due to his flu-like symptoms, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).

In a news update on Thursday, March 21, PCO said Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos are still resting and taking medications as advised by their attending physician.

“The President and the First Lady continue to experience flu-like symptoms but with improvements, maintaining stable vital signs,” it said.

Nonetheless, Marcos handles "correspondence and directive[s]” while recovering inside his home.

“He anticipates resuming full public engagements soon, per his physician’s clearance,” PCO said.

The Chief Executive is supposed to join the 127th anniversary celebration of the Philippine Army in Tarlac today, March 22.
