President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to fly for another international trip, this time, to attend the 28th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28) in Dubai.

In a speech during the turnover of the People’s Survival Fund in the Palace on November 2, the President said that he is set to leave for Dubai to attend the conference, as he was once again poised to use the platform to rally the global community and call on nations to honor the commitments, specifically the climate financing.

Marcos added that his administration is committed to making the country more resilient to climate change.

During the turnover, Marcos encouraged the local government unit (LGU) beneficiaries to ensure the success of implementing the projects and assured them of the support from the national government.
