President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. hopes that the supply of chicken in the country will not run out when San Miguel Corporation completes 12 facilities throughout the country, or the so-called controlled climate farm houses.
Marcos said that each facility is capable of producing 80 million chickens per year, and he believes that the increasing demand for chickens can be met in the entire Mindanao region and even in the entire Philippines through modern poultry farms.
He added that modern agricultural facilities will ensure the stability of food products even during holidays and other peak seasons, making him very positive that the ongoing supply of goods will curb excessive price fluctuations.
Moreover, the President said it will create more than 1,000 jobs for Filipinos, including opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises.
