President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. headed the distribution of rice to the poor families in the province of Cavite on Friday, September 22.

A total of 1,400 members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) received the distributed rice, which is part of the confiscated smuggled rice in Zamboanga City.

In his message, Marcos emphasized that the government is doing everything to make the price of rice affordable.

According to the president, the directive is strict for the relevant agencies to watch the occurrence of smuggling and hoarding.
