On Monday, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured that the government is fully prepared and is closely monitoring the situation as Tropical Storm Enteng impacts Luzon and the Visayas.
"We are prepared for the aftermath of all of these. As usual, nag-forward placement na tayo ng mga pangangailangan. We will just have to wait for the weather to see what it will do," Marcos said during a media interview at the Malacañang.
"Hopefully, umiwas sa atin. But, even if it does not, we have all the elements in place to support people na mahihirapan dahil nga dito sa naging bagyong Enteng," he added.
Marcos noted that established standard operating procedures are in place for managing such calamities and that essential supplies and equipment have been pre-deployed.
Additionally, relevant agencies are closely monitoring Tropical Storm Enteng, providing local governments with the necessary information to make decisions regarding their responses to the affected areas.
Earlier today, the President issued a directive to release a suspension bulletin for classes and work as early as possible if deemed necessary.
