About ₱1.2M sales were made by the First Kadiwa ng Pangulo program, which Filipino entrepreneurs and shoppers benefit from, launched by the Marcos administration in Pili, Camarines Sur.

In Bicol Region, the first Kadiwa ng Pangulo center gained a sale of ₱431,162 and ₱780, 912 respectively, having a total of ₱1,212,074. While the center in Cebu city has reached a total sale of ₱931,329.

As of now, more than 500 outlets of the program were initiated by the Marcos administration.

Previously, President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. commenced the ‘KNP Para sa Manggagawa’, known as a special Kadiwa ng Pangulo outlet, at the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) head office in Quezon City.

The program continues to expand nationwide with an objective of giving a platform and achieving more income for Filipino farmers, fisherfolk and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through a direct-to-consumer trade.

The President noted that, amid rising inflation in the country, the initiative also has the intention to supply consumers with cheap basic goods.

The administration’s thrust is to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic by aiding MSMEs, the chief executive added.
