About ₱1.2M sales were made by the<a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/pbbm-launches-1st-kadiwa-ng-pangulo-in-bicol" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> First Kadiwa ng Pangulo</a> program, which Filipino entrepreneurs and shoppers benefit from, launched by the Marcos administration in Pili, Camarines Sur.
In Bicol Region, the first Kadiwa ng Pangulo center gained a sale of ₱431,162 and ₱780, 912 respectively, having a total of&nbsp; ₱1,212,074. While the center in Cebu city has reached a total sale of ₱931,329.&nbsp;
As of now, more than 500 outlets of the program were initiated by the Marcos administration.
Previously, President Ferdinand &lsquo;Bongbong&rsquo; Marcos Jr. commenced the &lsquo;KNP Para sa Manggagawa&rsquo;, known as a special Kadiwa ng Pangulo outlet, at the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) head office in Quezon City.
The program continues to expand nationwide with an objective of giving a platform and achieving more income for Filipino farmers, fisherfolk and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through a direct-to-consumer trade.
The President noted that, amid rising inflation in the country, the initiative also has the intention to supply consumers with cheap basic goods.
The administration&rsquo;s thrust is to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic by aiding MSMEs, the chief executive added.
