Who said pets can't join the craze?
Maui, a shih tzu, captured netizens with his cute impersonation of Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere and “Maria Clara at Ibarra” character Padre Salvi.
The fictional priest is known for his bald top head and brown long garment and the dog perfectly embodied this attire.
Her fur mom, Paula De Dios posted Maui’s picture in a Facebook group with a caption, “Pawdre Salvi.”
To copy the look, she placed a nipple tape at the top of Maui’s head and covered its body with a brown pillow case.
Naisip po namin na kamuka niya si Padre Salvi,” she said in an interview.
They easily took the picture as the pet doesn't usually move when something is placed on his head. Maui is indeed a smart dog as he is always camera-ready.
