Pauline Amelinckx, a 27-year-old Filipino-Belgian, and the reigning Miss Bohol has been crowned as the new Miss Supranational Philippines 2023.
The coronation took place during the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant in Pasay City on Saturday.
Pauline, a proud Boholana beauty, will now represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Supranational 2023 pageant to be held in Nowy Sącz, Poland this July.
She is no stranger to pageantry, having won the Miss Bohol title in 2017 and Mutya ng Pilipinas Global Beauty Queen in 2018.
Pauline had previously competed three times in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. In 2020, she secured the third runner-up title, while in 2021, she was crowned as the Miss Universe Philippines Charity's third-place winner.
Apart from being a beauty queen, Pauline holds a degree in international studies from Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) in Mandaue City. She also works as an event host and is an avid freediver.
During the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant, all candidates were asked the same question about the Department of Tourism's new branding campaign, "We give the world our best."
Pauline responded by saying:
"The best that we offer to the world is the Filipino warmth. It is something that we feel in other countries when we see other Filipino communities. But it is something we feel even more evidently here in the Philippines. And with this slogan at heart, with this value within us, we'll be able to bring so many people together to make a meaningful change out there and show them the best the Philippines has to offer."
With her new title as Miss Supranational Philippines 2023, Pauline is set to represent the country on the international stage and showcase the beauty, warmth, and values that Filipinos hold dear.
