The camp of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo will file a motion to quash the arrest warrant issued against the latter.
"Tomorrow [April 11], we will file a motion to quash the warrant of arrest, on the ground na hindi naman ito valid. We are still contesting the validity of the charge against him," Israelito Torreon, one of Quiboloy's legal counsel, told DZRH in an interview on Wednesday, April 10.
He added that they are questioning the validity of the arrest warrant as his client "was not accorded with full right to preliminary investigation."
"In Lim vs. Felix and other cases, the Supreme Court has been consistent in saying na ang right to preliminary investigation is a substantive right. Hindi naman daw ito empty right," Lim stressed.

Earlier this month, Davao Regional Trial Court Branch 12 issued a warrant of arrest against Quiboloy and five other associates over charges of child abuse.
The charges, previously dismissed by the Davao City Prosecutor’s Office in 2020, were overturned by the justice department.
The legal counsel maintained that his client was not guilty, and they would take available remedies under the law "to prove his innocence."
As per Lim, Quiboloy is not hiding and is presently in the Philippines.
He, however, admitted that he had no idea of his client's exact location, noting that he only communicated with the latter through a representative.
Last Saturday, Sunshine Media Network Inc. released Quiboloy's audio statement in which he said he contented that he is not hiding but only evading the "extraordinary rendition" to be carried out by the United States.
