MANILA – The Passport Online Appointment System (OAS) will not be accessible starting May 28, 2024 until further notice.
In an announcement posted by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on its social media platforms, it confirmed that the online appointment system (www.passport.gov.ph) for passport applications and renewal will be undergoing maintenance due to reported “technical glitches”.
The DFA assures the public that “it is currently working closely and continuously with the APO Production Unit, its service provider, to resolve the issues as soon as possible.”
Meantime, the DFA advises the public to check the DFA website for updates on the availability of the Passport Online Appointment System and to contact the department for urgent matters at +632 8234 3488.
“DFA understands the importance of the Passport OAS and is committed to providing the highest level of assistance,” the DFA stated.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation and understanding,” the DFA added.
