Pilot face-to-face classes in Pasig City are targeted to begin on December 6, according to Mayor Vico Sotto, as the municipality held a dry run for in-person classes on Wednesday.
"Ang target date ng DepEd (Department of Education) Pasig para sa pilot face-to-face ay Dec. 6," Sotto said on Facebook.

According to the mayor, four schools are currently under validation to receive approval to run in-person learning. They include Pasig Elementary School, Nagpayong Elementary School, Francisco Legaspi Memorial School, and Ugong Pasig National High School.
In preparation for the face-to-face learning, the city carried out on Wednesday a simulation of the in-person classes in Pasig Elementary School.
Sotto posted on his Facebook page images of students lining up and inside classrooms while observing social distancing protocols.
"Gaya ng sabi ng maraming eksperto - the key is good ventilation and air flow," Sotto said.

The Pasig mayor expressed his gratitude to parents who gave their consent to make the dry run possible.
