Netfli announced on Thursday that South Korean stars Park Bo Young and Choi Woo Shik will be working together for the streamer’s upcoming romance series “Melo Movie.”
On its X (formerly Twitter) account, Netflix unveiled various photos of the cast, including Lee Jun Young and Jeon Soo Nee, while holding the script.
Choi Woo-shik (A Killer Paradox), Park Bo-young (Daily Dose of Sunshine), Jeon So-nee (Our Blooming Youth), and Lee Jun-young (Mask Girl) will star in the new romance series, Melo Movie!

For this upcoming series, the story talks about a “bittersweet journey” of healing through young love and big dreams.
“Melo Movie” is written by “Our Beloved Summer” writer Lee Nae Eun, in which Choi Woo Sik starred, and directed by “Start-Up” and “Castaway Diva” director Oh Chung Hwan.
Park Bo Young made her acting debut in 2006 and she popularly known for her role in the romantic comedy series “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” in which she also made a cameo for the K-drama’s spin-off “Strong Girl Nam Soon.”
Last year, Park Bo Young also starred in the Netflix series “Daily Dose of Sunshine.”
On the other hand, Choi Woo Sik starred in the 2021 drama “Our Beloved Summer” and gained international popularity through the award-winning film “Parasite” in 2019.
Recently, Choi Woo Sik starred in Netflix’s crime series “A Killer Paradox,” in which the majority of the scenes were shot in the Philippines.
