Parents put nametag for kids ahead cemetery visit for Undas season

Parents are putting nametags for their children before they visit the Manila North Cemetery ahead of Undas season.

According to RH Boy Gonzales on Tuesday, Oct. 31, parents reportedly secure their children’s safety by using nametags during their annual visit to a cemetery lest they get lost amid the surge of Filipinos coming to see their loved ones’ graves.

The Manila Department of Social Welfare (MDSW), however, ensured that every parent who brings their child to the cemetery fill out a form enumerating their name, the name of their child, cellphone number, and address so the agency could promptly bring lost children to their respective parents.

The Department of Health (DOH) earlier advised parents to refrain from bringing their children to a cemetery over possible diseases that could infect small children due to overcrowding, intense heat, and sudden downpours they may experience during cemetery visits.
