Paolo Duterte tests positive for COVID-19

Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte has tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, Sept. 27.
In a statement, the presidential son said his RT-PCR test yielded a positive result. He is currently in isolation at a hospital while his family is under home quarantine.
The congressman has so far not manifested severe symptoms.
"I thank everyone who showed their concern to me and my family," he added.

"Rest assured that I will comply with the quarantine and will continue to serve the people of Davao even in isolation," he said.
He is the second of the Duterte siblings to have contracted the viral illness following his younger brother Davao Vice Mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte was infected in July.
