A transgender woman reportedly died days after she was violently beaten up by two men in Pineda, Pasig City.
According to RH Edniel Parrosa's report on Wednesday, March 13, Danilo 'Shaina' Nazareth, a call center agent, was punched, kicked, and strangled by two men after they had a drinking session last March 2.
Shaina sustained extensive bruises but hid this from her mother. She was later on sent to the Rizal Medical Center due to vomiting.
Her medical record reportedly showed that she died due to "intracranial hemorrhage."
The Pasig City Police Station has filed homicide charges against the two suspects who are still on the run.

Interviewed by Parrosa, Melinda Nazareth, the mother of the slain LGBT, said her daughter was not friends nor acquainted with the suspects.
She said they all had met for the first time in the drinking session that happened at the house of Shaina's friend.
As per Melinda, the two men resort to violence after getting fumed by the "kantyawan" or jokes amidst the drinking session.
The 64-year-old mother appealed for justice and called on the suspects to surrender themselves. "Sana sumuko na sila at pagsisihan ang ginawa nila sa anak ko. Gusto ko lang ng hustisya."
With Shaina now gone, Melinda said she would apply as a house helper to sustain her everyday needs, especially her maintenance medicine.
"Sa ngayon, kaya ko pa naman magtrabaho. Habang kaya ko, kaya ko naman po, para pang tustos ko sa mga maitenance ko. May highblood ako," she shared.
