Palace says 'no plans' to make October 31 a holiday

Malacañang has no plans to declare October 31, Tuesday, as a special non-working holiday.
In a Palace briefing on Tuesday, Press Secretary Cheloy Garafil told reporters that the Office of the Executive Secretary has no plans.
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. earlier declared Monday, October 30, 2023, as a special non-working day for the observance of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
Meanwhile, November 1 is observed as a special non-working day for All Saints' Day, and November 2 was declared an additional special non-working day.
