

The Philippine Air Force’s (PAF) missing FA-50 fighter jet has been located in Bukidnon, the Eastern Mindanao Command confirmed on Wednesday, March 5.
According to a report by RH 52 Edniel Parrosa, the missing fighter jet was located in Mt. Kalatungan in Bukidnon.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) Eastern Mindanao Commander Lt.Gen. Luis Rex Bergante said the retrieval team travelled to the location around 11:00 AM on Wednesday.
However, upon reaching the area, authorities discovered the fighter jet had been destroyed, with two of its pilots dead.

Bergante described the fighter jet to be “Totally wrecked.”
In a previous update, the PAF said they had identified a “general area” where the missing fighter jet may be located.
The FA-50 fighter jet went missing on Tuesday, during its tactical night operation.
