Former professional boxer and former senator Manny Pacquiao emerged as Filipinos' senatorial bet for the next national polls, the latest commissioned Social Weather Station (SWS) survey has shown.
The results of the latest SWS survey released on Sunday showed that Pacquiao garnered 4,848 votes which is 7 percent of the total of 26,718 votes.
Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla ranked as the second preferred senatorial bet, acquiring 4,066 votes.
He was followed by former Senate President Tito Sotto with 3,386 votes, Senator Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go with 3,255 votes, and business tycoon and former Senator Manny Villar with 3,114 votes.
Securing the fifth spot was actor-turned-Senator Lito Lapid with 2,404 votes, and the sixth spot was taken by Senator Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa with 2,193 votes.
Other former and present politicians who also emerged as Filipino's senatorial bet are the following:

- Former Vice President Leni Robredo - 818
- Former Vice President Jejomar Binay - 812
The SWS survey, commissioned by founder and former representative of LPGMA party list Arnel Ty, was conducted from April 15 to April 18.
A total of 1,200 adults, aged 18 years old and above coming from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, were interviewed face-to-face.
Each interviewee was asked the question "If the elections were held today, whom would you most probably vote for as SENATORS? You can give up to 12 names."
