An estimated P5.3 million worth of cocaine was found by the fishermen in South Ubian, Tawi-Tawi.

According to the fishermen identified as Sabri Iskan and his brother Alih, they spotted the block of cocaine wrapped in plastic, floating in the waters of Brgy. Bubuan.

The two turned over the cocaine to, Murpred Asdain, barangay chairperson of Brgy. Bubuan, who later handed over the illegal drug to the Tawi-Tawi police.

Meanwhile, South Ubian and Marine troops transported the recovered item to the Tawi-Tawi capital Bongao on Friday afternoon and turned it over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
