The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Monday, Dec. 11, imposed a total of P4 million fine to ten road violators.

Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) caught the violators during its enforcement operations in Pasay City.

Five apprehended vehicles were issued tickets for Disregarding Traffic Sign under Republic Act No. 4136.

Four out of line buses had their plates removed and received impounding receipts while one bus violated the Anti-Distracted Driving Act and expired Certificate of Public Convenience.

The DOTr, with the help of SAICT, aims to strengthen its operators against violators in the metro.
