The combined impact of Typhoons Egay and Falcon, along with the intensified Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), has resulted in P3,082,470,603.82 worth of agricultural production loss, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
The affected regions include Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Bangsamoro, and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
Over 108,000 farmers and fishermen have been affected by the damage, with a total of 153,265.17 hectares of crops impacted.
Of this area, approximately 132,000 hectares are partially damaged but still have hope of recovery, while around 20,000 hectares are entirely devastated.
In addition to the agricultural losses, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) reported damages amounting to P126,350,000 in the regions of Mimaropa and CAR.
The destructive forces of the typhoons and Habagat also took a toll on infrastructure, causing damage to 573 structures, valued at a total of P3,631,012,164.44.
Among the regions affected, CAR faced the highest infrastructure damage, with 347 structures amounting to P2,261,635,339.74.
The reported human casualties due to the weather disturbances have reached 30, with four confirmed fatalities, 10 people missing, and 171 others injured.
Moreover, a significant number of people have been affected, with 3,249,796 individuals or 971,407 families in 5,073 barangays across the country.
The NDRRMC recorded 72,473 houses damaged by the calamities, with 67,841 partially damaged and 4,632 totally destroyed.
About P371,550,466.6 worth of assistance and relief efforts has been provided to the affected regions.
