The Police Regional Office in the Caraga Region (PRO-13) has received nine new vehicles to help with its anti-crime campaign for its field stations in the region.

According to PRO-13 director Brig. Gen. Pablo Labra II, the vehicles were provided by the Philippine National Police Bids and Awards Committee using funds from the Capability Enhancement Program 2022.

Together with Surigao del Norte 2nd District Rep. Robert Ace Barbers Labra, he oversaw the sale of Toyota Hiluz 4x2 vehicles worth P10.7 million.Furthermore, the vehicles were turned over to police stations in Agusan del Norte's Carmen, Jabonga, and Remedios T. Romualdez; Surigao del Norte's Burgos, General Luna, Gigaguit, Placer, and Taganaan; and Surigao del Sur's Barobo.

Meanwhile, Barbers praised the PRO-13 for speeding up the procurement of the vehicles, which are critical in the region's anti-crime campaigns.
