The Makati Public Employment Service Office (PESO), in collaboration with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), will offer free consultations for overseas workers through the Overseas Helpdesk.
On Tuesday, the local government announced that they will be offering free consultations on OWWA benefits, claims, and assistance for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their dependents through its Overseas Helpdesk.
OFWs and their dependents will be eligible to consult for social benefits such as; disability and dismemberment benefits, death benefits, and burial benefits. Moreover, they are also eligible for scholarships and training program assistance, including their dependents.
Workers may also request on-site assistance and services like airport assistance, and psycho-social counseling.
“The helpdesk will be on the 5th floor, Building I, Makati City Hall, August 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12 NN,” the Makati government stated.
