Over October vocalist Josh Buizon gave fans an update on his second emergency surgery. This time, he said, it was for his appendix.

But don’t fret because Josh assured fans that they will not be pulling out any shows this month. In an Instagram post on Friday, the band’s vocalist shared the recent challenge he’s facing.

“They say lightning never strikes the same place twice—but in my case, it did. Just got out of another successful emergency surgery, this time for my appendix. This comes after my wrist surgery last December from my road accident,” the Over October vocalist recalled. “Grabe ang mga challenges lately, but God has been with me every step of the way. And of course, my ka-Ating Dalawa, Thea as well.”

“For those watching Over October this February, don’t worry—we’re not pulling out of any shows. SEE YOU SOON!!!” he assured.

The band is set to perform in various places in the country, like Cabanatuan, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Manila, and Cavite.

During the 2024 holidays, the singer revealed that a vehicular accident left him with a fractured wrist, injured lungs, sprains, and bruises. He continued saying that he was planning on proposing to his girlfriend at the end of the year.

Luckily, he was able to pop the question on New Year’s Eve, stating that it was the happiest moment of his life.
