Over 100 motor vehicles were caught traversing the exclusive bus lane in front of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong on Wednesday, Nov. 8, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

In a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, MMDA Task Force Special Operations Group Victorio Rodriguez said among the apprehended violators were policemen, soldiers, and employees of the Department of Energy (DOE) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

This occurred ahead of the implementation of stricter fines to be imposed by the MMDA this Nov. 13 for motor vehicles using the EDSA carousel bus lane.
