“I was more nervous than at the Olympics,” Duplantis stated pertaining to his proposal.
When Duplantis first dropped to one knee, Inglande assumed it was just part of the photoshoot. After all, the couple had already joked about how their outfits made them look like a bride and groom.
Duplantis has made a name for himself for repeatedly stunning the world by surpassing his world records.
He secured the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics by clearing a height of 6.25 meters.
Furthermore, he set another world record of 6.26 meters during the Silesia leg of the Wanda Diamond League in August.
