Barangay Matandang Balara, Quezon City has strictly banned the sale and actual playing of viral toy lato-lato.

Brgy. Chairman Allan Franza signed Executive Order No. 4 on June 27 which prohibits the distribution, sale, and playing of lato-lato.

On Thursday, authorities started to confiscate the “clacking” toy, starting with stores that sell it.

Some children voluntarily surrendered their toys.

The Old Balara EO conformed to the advice of the FDA.

Lato-lato is a trend for Filipinos and a means of entertainment.
