Motorists can expect some relief at the pump as the Department of Energy (DOE) announced a rollback in petroleum prices for next week.
In its latest announcement, the DOE confirmed that prices for the following oil products will be adjusted downward:
- Gasoline: Price rollback of ₱0.70 to ₱1.00 per liter
- Diesel: Price rollback of ₱0.65 to ₱0.95 per liter
- Kerosene: Price rollback of ₱0.70 to ₱0.80 per lite
The price adjustment follows a decline in global oil prices, which have been influenced by factors such as changes in crude oil supply, fluctuations in demand, and shifts in the global market.
The DOE regularly monitors these global market trends and adjusts local fuel prices accordingly.
