Motorists can have a little sigh of relief as there will be an upcoming oil price rollback on Tuesday, September 24, breaking 11 consecutive weeks of oil price hikes.
According to oil industry sources, the prices of gasoline will go down by an estimated ₱0.20 to ₱0.40 per liter.
The diesel products will be reduced by ₱0.20 to ₱0.40 per liter, while kerosene will decline by ₱0.50 to ₱0.70 per liter.
During the 11 consecutive weeks of oil price hike — from July 11 to September 23 — the petroleum products have risen by:
- Diesel by ₱17.30 per liter
- Gasoline by ₱11.85 per liter
- Kerosene by ₱15.95 per liter
