More than P1 hike on fuel prices set on Tuesday
Oil consumers will have to brace for another week of hikes as fuel retailers on Monday announced a major increase of more than PHP 1 this week.
In separate advisories, Shell and Seaoil said they will implement an upward adjustment per liter of gasoline by PHP 1.60, diesel by PHP 1.10, and kerosene by PHP 1.05.
Cleanfuel will likewise have the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.
The adjustments will take effect at 6 AM on Tuesday, February 20, for all the oil companies except for Cleanfuel which will increase its prices at 4:01 PM the same day. Other firms have yet to make announcements.
The hike adjustment comes after a week of slight rollback per liter of gasoline by PHP 0.60, diesel by PHP 0.10, and kerosene by PHP 0.40.
