The former manager of Liza Soberano, Ogie Diaz, made his response to the recent video of the actress regarding her life and career changes.
The actress mentioned in her 14-minute vlog that she has not had the chance to grow on her own terms under Star Magic, her former agency.
However, Diaz refuted her claims in his recently uploaded Youtube video, saying the management and production were open to her thoughts and ideas.
"Anak, lagi kang binibigyan ng chance to say your piece, your opinion, ypur suggestion. Pinapakinggan ka din naman kung may complaints ka," he said.
"Pero 'di ba kung minsan, we have to meet half way. And I thank you for that, pakikisama ang tawag doon, anak.," Diaz added.
He also pointed out the significance of being named 'Liza Soberano' after the actress mentioned she could not choose her own.
Under her name, Diaz noted, Liza was given projects and opportunities to provide for her family.
Meanwhile, Diaz expressed gratitude and good luck for Liza's new journey.
"I wish you good luck sa bagong bihis na Liza Soberano.
It was in 2022 when Soberano did not renew her contract with former management and instead, signed with James Reid’s agency, Careless Music.
